VOLUNTEER

There are many ways you can give back to your community, even if you can’t financially

Volunteers are an essential part of our program because they assist staff with completing daily operations and provide guidance and support for our clients. Whether you are here because you are required to obtain volunteer hours or you just want to support The Shepherd’s House and our clients, our hope is that you leave here with a positive, ever-lasting impact and learn something about the non-profit world as well as homelessness.

To see a list of volunteer opportunities, click the attachment below. Our volunteers help with everything from yard work to providing guidance and teaching basic fundamentals like budgeting for our clients.

Even if you can’t find the time to volunteer with us, there are other ways you can give back! Attached below is our current donation policy. To be able to give more time to our clients in order to better serve them, we no longer accept certain items - please refer to the "Donation Policy" link below.  Also attached below is a list of our common needs for the shelter.  Since we are staffed 24/7, we accept donations at all hours of the day, and even on the weekends!
